On October 12-16, 2026, students at Heide Trask High School honored the cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans with “Hispanic Heritage Celebration Week.”
During the week, our school lobby featured exhibits created by students from diverse backgrounds and content areas: Art (Ms. Buckley), World Language (Ms. Skrypek), Dance (Ms. Fisher), and Language Through Art (Ms. Seri). Ms. Seri's students also collaborated with faculty from the University of North Carolina Wilmington’s Theater Department to create their educational "Rainforest art exhibit. Needless to say, the aforementioned HTHS departments joined forces to create an exceptional artistic showcase!
